Is your crypto wallet safe? Check without connecting it.

You can answer most of that from public data alone. A wallet's standing risks are visible on-chain: which contracts hold spending permissions over your tokens, whether lookalike addresses have been planted in your history, and whether dust has been sent to bait you. A read-only check of the public address reveals all three without touching your keys.

Paste the public address into a read-only scanner. A public address is like an account number — anyone can view its history, nobody can spend from it. A safety check never needs a wallet connection, a signature, or a browser extension, and it must never ask for a seed phrase.

No. A public address lets people see the wallet's history and send money to it — the same data any block explorer shows. Moving money out requires the secret keys. That is exactly why a safety check from the address alone is safe to run.

Your keys are offline — but your addresses are public, and so is everything that happens to them. A hardware wallet cannot see a years-old spending permission you granted before moving to it, a lookalike planted in your history, or money leaving through an approval you forgot. Cold storage protects the keys; someone still has to watch the addresses.

The common ones: an unlimited token approval to a contract nobody can identify, an approval to a contract on a public scam blacklist, a stranger in your history whose address matches the first and last characters of someone you actually pay, and tiny dust payments you never asked for. Each is visible on-chain before money moves.

Honesty is the product, so: no on-chain check can see a phishing email, a fake support call, or what you sign inside your wallet at the moment you click. A brand-new scam contract may not be on any blacklist yet. A wallet check is an early warning, never a guarantee — anyone telling you otherwise is selling something.
